Stocky alternatives for Shopify, honestly compared

Shopify shuts Stocky down on 31 August 2026. It was delisted on 2 February 2026. After that date the app and its API stop working, and the purchase orders, supplier records and receiving history inside it stop being reachable.
We build one of the replacements below, so read this knowing that. We have tried to make it the comparison we would have wanted while choosing between these, which means it tells you when to install something other than ours. The short version is at the top.

The short version
If you want demand forecasting and reorder suggestions, install Prediko. Around $49 a month. Losing forecasting is the single thing Stocky merchants complain about most, and Purser does not do it.
If you sell on Shopify plus Amazon, eBay or TikTok, install Sumtracker. Around $59 a month. Purser is Shopify only.
If you need multi-location, landed cost and accounting sync together, and the budget is there, install Qoblex. Around $100 a month.
If you mostly want the receiving workflow, look at EasyScan. Around $80 a month.
If you only want historical reporting and forecasting to read, look at Stockful. Around $20 a month.
If what you actually miss from Stocky is the money side, what you owe each supplier, when it is due, and the average unit cost Stocky calculated and Shopify does not, that is what Purser does. Free plan, or $37.99 a month.

What Shopify is replacing Stocky with, and what it is dropping
Shopify is bringing purchase orders, stock adjustments and transfers into the admin directly. For a shop that used Stocky only to raise orders and move stock between locations, that may genuinely be enough, and it is free.
Three things are not coming with it.
- Demand forecasting and reorder suggestions. Stocky estimated what to buy and when. Nothing in the native admin does.
- Average unit cost. Stocky averaged what you actually paid across every delivery. Shopify's own documentation says: "Average unit costs are unique to Stocky and don't display in Shopify." The admin stores one cost per item, the last price you paid.
- Your history. Purchase orders, stocktakes, supplier lead times and case pack sizes do not move across on their own.

What Purser does and does not do
Purser does purchase orders, barcode receiving on one screen, accounts payable, and weighted-average cost. Inside the Shopify admin, on the free plan or at $37.99 a month.
Purser does not do demand forecasting. It will not tell you what to reorder or when. It does not sell on any channel but Shopify. It does not have a mobile app. If those are what you need, one of the tools above is a better buy than ours, and we would rather you install it than install Purser and leave a one-star review in September.
Whatever you choose, export your Stocky data before 31 August 2026
Nothing carries over on its own, and after the shutdown the export is gone. The migration guide lists the exact files to pull and the order to pull them in. It is written to be useful whichever tool you move to.

The supplier records, costs and purchase-order history you built up over years do not move to Shopify by themselves. Export them, bring them into Purser, and keep the ledger you have been running your shop on.
