The established inventory and forecasting apps for Shopify start at around $49 a month and run past $100. Almost none of them offer a free plan, and only the most expensive of them tracks accounts payable at all; the rest push it into QuickBooks. Purser is $37.99 at the top, and $0 at the bottom.

Frequently asked questions
What happens when I hit five purchase orders on the free plan?
You are asked to upgrade if you want to raise a sixth that month, and the allowance resets on the 1st. Nothing else stops: you can still receive stock against orders you already raised, record payments, correct mistakes, run the aging report and export your data. The free plan limits what you create, it never locks you out of your own ledger.
What happens to my data if I cancel Pro?
You drop to the free plan and your data stays exactly where it is. Purchase orders, bills, payments, cost history — all of it remains readable and exportable. We do not hold a ledger hostage.
Are there limits on locations, users or units received?
No. Both plans support unlimited locations and staff, and there is no charge based on how much stock you receive.
How is billing handled?
Through Shopify. The charge appears on your normal Shopify invoice, and you can change or cancel the plan from your Shopify admin. Purser never sees or stores a card number.
Is there a free trial?
There is something better: a free plan that never expires. Run five purchase orders a month on it for as long as you like, and upgrade only when the volume genuinely demands it.
